In case you thought their popularity was waning in recent months, you may want to think again. One Direction is still nabbing the hearts - and eyeballs - of millions of fans worldwide.
The British heartthrobs premiered the music video for new single Best Song Ever on Vevo Monday and racked up 10.9 million views in 24 hours.
The clip beat out fellow teen favorite Miley Cyrus' We Can't Stop, which previously held the record with 10.7 million views.
The boy band is slated to open Fox's Teen Choice Awards Aug. 11 with a performance of the tune, which is the first off their upcoming album. Their 3D-concert film, One Direction: This Is Us, opens in movie theaters nationwide Aug. 30.
