Justin Bieber missed Selena Gomez's actual birthday on July 22, so we hope he doesn't miss her " epic" party planned for July 27, too. However, if he does miss the party, Taylor Swift won't be disappointed. A source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Taylor, 23, won't want to be at the party if Justin, 19, is there.
Selena Gomez Birthday Party - Taylor Swift Is Going, Hopes Justin Bieber Doesn't
Taylor's never been shy about her distaste for Justin, so it comes as no surprise to learn that she'll attend Selena's party in hopes that Justin doesn't go. A source close to Taylor tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively:
Taylor was talking about how she'll be on a super tight schedule on Saturday night because she has a show and she wants to get to Selena's birthday party. She was talking about flying out right after her show. She's not going to want to be there if Justin is there, it's so awkward between them now, so my guess is Justin's not going to Selena's birthday party.
While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, it's a bit disappointing that Taylor and Justin can't get along for the sake of Selena, 21. We can totally see this ending up like a Dylan/Kelly/Brandon situation, where Selena may choose herself in the end, instead of always feeling like she has to choose between them.
Taylor may have to bite her tongue during Selena's party because there's a chance Justin will attend. After July 25, Justin doesn't have another concert, as part of his Believe tour, until July 28 in Detroit, Michigan. He certainly has enough time to fly to Selena, celebrate with her, and still make it to Detroit in time for his concert.
Selena Gomez's Big 21st Birthday Party Plans
Either way, Selena certainly plans on celebrating in a big way.
"Obviously in America 21 is the age," Selena said on Canada's MuchMusic on May 30, "so I'm gonna actually have a really big party. I wanna have a great party - I'm gonna invite my friends and my family, and I'm definitely gonna celebrate."
