Taylor Swift celebrated the 4th of July in style this year, as she hosted a special patriotic themed party at her new luxury Rhode Island home.
The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hitmaker invited along members of her 'touring family' for a red white and blue bash but some fans have been asking if she invited a certain someone special along, as well as her musician and roadie friends.
The US star looked happy and relaxed in pictures which were released of her Independence Day party and she's seen hanging out with her backing dancers, band members and crew at her mansion, while they all availed of some patriotic face painting and a massive barbecue.
Taylor blogged about the happy event and wrote on her official blog saying:
'Happy belated 4th of July. Independence Day is one of my favorite holidays of the year. This time around, my touring family joined me at the beach and I wanted to show you some of the pictures because you're the reason we all get to be on tour together.'
Swift shared a whole host of pictures of her and her friends, who included a few sexy and buff male dancers, but it was another man who caused plenty of speculation online.
Twitter users were quick to connect the dots when Criminal Minds actor Matthew Gray Gubler shared his own plans for July 4th, tweeting ,'next stop New England!' he later added 'summer nights are wonderful' and also posted a photograph of himself sporting the same red, white and blue face paint as Taylor and her friends on the holiday.
However, even if Matt was with Taylor last week, insiders are still claiming that they are nothing more than friends and one supposed 'rock solid' source told Gossip Cop that there is nothing going on 'in the love department,' adding that the pair are 'just friends.'
