It's never a good idea to get on Rihanna's bad side.

And it looks like Chris Brown may have done just that by tweeting on Thursday that his former girlfriend would be appearing on his new album.

But the Barbadian born superstar appeared to hit back and it wasn't complimentary.

Rihanna appeared to be be tweeting her response that same day as she posted the message: 'Phuck O.utta H.ere B.xxxx!!!'.

It was accompanied with an Instagram image of a Rihanna lookalike saying: 'B**** you will die, be born again, die again and be born again before I do a song with you b****.'

Brown and his entourage are known as O.H.B, so Rihanna's capitalisation could be significant in its meaning.

The pair have endured a rollercoaster relationship over the years and they appeared to break up once again recently.

Chris revealed that he would be enjoying his birthday (May 5) without the Diamonds songstress during an Australian Radio show.

He told the Kylie and Jackie O show: 'I can't really be focused on wifeing somebody that young.'

Then he hooked up with former girlfriend Karreuche Tran at an BET after party at The Belasco Theatre.

Earlier this year Chris dumped Karreuche to go back to Rihanna before their latest split.

Karreuche has reportedly moved back into his Hollywood Hills home while Rihanna has been busy touring Europe and partying in Paris with celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence.

Brown is still serving probation following his beating of her back in February 2009 where he was charged with a felony assault and making criminal threats against the singer.
