One Direction's Liam Payne was hanging out at his usual hot spot, Funky Buddha in London on Wednesday night, ringing in his boy Wizkid's 24th birthday right!
And Liam decided this celebration deserved some champagne!
To hell with just bubbles though. These dudes wanted a Taste of Diamonds!
Champagne brand Goût de Diamants (French for "Taste of Diamonds") makes a bottle of bubbly that retails for £1.2 million!!! And that looks like the label in Liam's hand!
But hold on...
The designer of that luxury champagne, Alexander Amosu, is actually the one who took this picture! And he's saying Liam's bar tab didn't even come close to hitting a million! Alexander posted on Instagram the next day:
Well that makes sense. Diamonds are too expensive and heavy. No thanks, Jose! Swarovski Cryyyyystals!!! Definitely the way to go!
We suspected Liam would never spend THAT much coin on alcohol! Still, £350 is A LOT to drop on a buddy's birthday drink! But, our Puppy Payne is just one generous guy, isn't he??
We usually just buy our friends a beer. A domestic one. At happy hour.
